In our logo, we have embedded the modern computer icon for recovery within the chakana, an ancient Inca cross. The chakana symbolizes the dynamic between the universe and the life it contains as well as representing the four points of the compass; air, water, fire, and the earth; and the underworld, human life, and the upper world of celestial beings and gods. The recovery icon is a reminder that we strive to achieve full ecosystem recovery for the earth and that much of the work being done must be measured against that ultimate goal.
